I am a technologist, geneticist and writer. Born in Bangladesh, I grew up in upstate New York and eastern Oregon, and lived in western Oregon and northern California before moving to Austin, Texas, where I have lived for more than a decade.<\/p>\n

I am currently he Director of Operations at FUTO<\/a><\/strong>, a consumer technology company in Austin, TX. I co-founded GenRAIT, <\/strong>a deep tech company that deployed an analytic platform for the life sciences. With over ten years in the genomics space, I developed ancestry algorithms for Gene By Gene<\/a><\/strong>, The Genographic Project<\/a><\/strong> and Insitome<\/a><\/strong>. I was also one of the first employees at Embark Veterinary<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I have written for Palladium Magazine<\/a><\/strong>, Compact<\/a><\/strong>, UnHerd<\/a><\/strong>, The Dispatch<\/a><\/strong>, The New York Times<\/strong><\/a>, City Journal<\/a><\/strong>, National Review<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Slate<\/strong><\/a>, Quillette<\/a> <\/strong>and Nautilus<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
